Description

Extracting information from the acquired images is the final, necessary step to obtain quantitative information from your Microscopy experiments.
This process is known as Image Analysis and group a series of complex approaches requiring specialized personnel with solid computer science background and, usually, good programming skills. In this workshop we will introduce ZEISS arivis, the unique and agnostic software platform that guides you through the image analysis workflow, ensuring success when your data challenge you. We will embark on an exciting expedition where we will learn how ZEISS arivis can be at your side in any Image Analysis challenge, whether you are beginner or a very experienced user.
Initially, we will start by briefly introducing the basic concepts in image analysis, and later we will introduce the arivis Pro GUI structure. Through a series of examples based on real world data sets coming from volume electron and fluorescence microscopy, we will learn how to set up an automated analysis and how to use the latest innovations in Artificial Intelligence (AI), directly into arivis Cloud, to succeed in the most complex tasks. Later, we will learn how to integrate AI models into the ZEISS Ecosystem and how to extend the capabilities of ZEISS arivis through the integration of external scripts based on Python programming languages.
