Description

The workshop will show how Segment Anything, a deep learning model for interactive instance segmentation, can applied to segmentation and annotation tasks in biomedical images. We will first give an overview of different approaches that apply this method in the biomedical domain. Then we will introduce our tool, Segment Anything for Microscopy,
which introduces specialized models for microscopy and provides a napari plugin for automatic and interactive data annotation.
The main part of the workshop will then consist of a hands-on tutorial that teaches the participants how to use the tool. We will first work on example data and at the end of the workshop give the opportunity to work on participant data.

Target audience Beginner users, Intermediate users, Advanced users
Keywords segment-anything, segmentation, instance-segmentation, napari, napari-plugin
