Description

In this workshop, we present computational tools, workflows and pipelines for the processing and analysis of multiplexed tissue imaging data. In the first part of the workshop, we discuss commonly used analysis strategies and present a set of existing pipelines for multiplexed image processing, including MCMICRO (Schapiro et al., 2022), Steinbock (Windhager et al., 2023) and PIPEX (https://github.com/CellProfiling/pipex). In the second part, we showcase selected analyses of spatially resolved single-cell data extracted from multiplexed tissue images in a hands-on fashion, demonstrating tools such as SpatialData (Marconato et al., 2024) and TissUUmaps (Pielawski et al., 2023). The workshop is intended to provide researchers with an overview of recent tools in the multiplexed imaging field, enabling them to choose a suitable approach for the analysis of their own multiplexed tissue imaging data.
