Trains
Milano Centrale train station is the central node for the national transport infrastructure and it directly connects Italy to other European cities. You might consider reaching Milan by train if you leave from Paris, Zurich, or Frankfurt as there are direct connections available for these solutions.
Airports
Milano Linate is the closest to the city and has different types of connections with the centre of Milan. From Linate airport, you can take bus number 73 (direction Duomo M1/M3) with an ordinary urban ticket Mi1-Mi3 (see GiroMilano ATM, Azienda Trasporti Milanesi) and reach the city center (Duomo) in roughly 50 minutes (please note that the bus is not convenient if you arrive/depart late in the evening or early in the morning). As an alternative, some buses can take you either to the city center or to the Milan central station.
Milano Malpensa is a little further away from Milan city centre, but it offers a larger number of international connections while being still well connected to Milan's central station with buses and a dedicated train (Malpensa Express).
Bergamo Orio al Serio also has buses services that connect the airport to Milan central station, but it’s the farthest from the city.
How to reach Human Technopole
By public transport
HT is well connected with the city of Milan with by:
- Underground: Take the M1 red line and get off at Rho Fiera
- Train: Either by regional train or rail link (lines S5, S6, S11), get off at Rho Fiera Milano
Once at the Rho-Fiera station, proceed in the direction of the "Via Risorgimento"/MIND exit (slightly donwhill, without exiting the metro station) until you reach a wall with a yellow and red mosaic: from there, turn right and take the yellow LED-lit tunnel (MIND).
At the end of the tunnel you will find the dedicated MIND shuttle: get off at the "Human Technopole" stop (Palazzo Italia).
By car
Please note that you must send an email to [email protected] in order to reserve a parking slot, as parking space on campus is limited.
Reach the MIND area by enetering the following address:
- Google maps link: Cargo 11, MIND Milano Innovation District - Google Maps - G4C3+GX Baranzate, Città Metropolitana di Milano
- Address: Via Cristina Belgioioso, Baranzate - Milano (at the end of the street you will find Cargo 11)
After entering Cargo 11, follow the map below to reach the Human Technopole c/o Palazzo Italia car park.
We emphasize that, the only two pedestrian entrances to access the Human Technopole Campus are:
- Cargo 11
- From Rho Fiera Station please follow the indications written above under "By public transport"
Please do not trust any other pedestrian routes suggested by Google Maps or other navigation apps.
