DESCRIPTION:   \nOverview\n"European Success Stories in Translational Med
 icine" is a workshop organised by the HT Center for Innovation and Technol
 ogy Transfer (CITT) and promoted by Max Planck Innovation and xista. This 
 initiative will help participants navigate the startup creation process\, 
 showcasing case studies in the life sciences sector (pharma\, health\, and
  medtech) where innovative technologies have been incorporated into startu
 ps and successfully passed the exit or scale-up stage.\nWe are bringing to
 gether leading European scientific institutions to explore what makes a st
 artup succeed\, the critical steps to creating one\, and how scientists ca
 n become successful founders. The program will also focus on investor dyna
 mics and best practices for engaging with them.\nWorkshop Objectives\n· 
       What are the essential ingredients to make a successful startup
 \n·       What are the steps required to create a startup\n·   
     How to be a successful founder\n·       How to interact with
  investors\nTarget Audience\nThe target audience for this initiative is sc
 ientists\, inventors\, and their TTOs/IP managers working in academic inst
 itutions in all disciplines of\, and related to\, life sciences (including
  but not limited to biology\; biotechnology\; immunology\; medicine\; chem
 istry and pharmaceutical chemistry\; computer science\, including analysis
  of big data\, machine learning and AI).\nParticipation in the initiative 
 is limited in number (max. 30 participants). Participants will be selected
  based on their profile and relevance and/or potential of the submitted ca
